Our bunkhouse is situated in the beautiful area of Mid Wales, on the edge of the Hafren Forest, the perfect place for relaxing after a invigorating day in the great outdoors.
The forest takes its name from Afon Hafren (River Severn) which begins in a squelchy peat bog on Pumlumon , Mid Wales highest mountain.
We are 10 minute drive from Llyn Clywedog, a 615 acre reservoir where you will find Clywedog Trout Fishery and the home of Llyn Clywedog Sailing & Kayaking Club.
The famous Glyndwr's Way and Sustrans 8 passes right past our bunkhouse, and we are also a handy over night stop for those cycling the Lon Las Cymru.
Our nearest town is Llanidloes, which hosts numerous cafes, pubs and shops and has the only surviving timber framed market hall in Wales built at some time between 1612 and 1622.
